It seems as if Klaas Jan Huntelaars next club could be Real Madrid if reports today from Spain are to be believed. Spanish radio suggested that Huntelaars agent has already been in contact with the management team of the Spanish Champions elect and that the current Ajax hotshot will be the player to lead the Real Madrid attack next season.

The German title could be wrapped up this weekend if Schalke loose at Hamburg, in what is practically a Champions League play-off, and Werder loose to Karlsruhe and if Bayern can beat Stuttgart on Sunday. Reports yesterday have suggested that Barcelona have jumped to the head of the sizeable queue to sign Metzs Bosnian starlet Miralem Pjanic in the summer. The 18 year old has broken through into the Metz first team this season and has been one of the few bright spots for the French side as they are anchored to the bottom of the league and facing relegation at the end of the season.

The Daily Mirror has suggested today that Liverpool have been tracking Argentine midfielder Maxi Rodriguez, currently under contract with Atletico Madrid. The 27 year old has been in excellent form for the La Liga outfit as they attempt to claim fourth place in the Spanish League and stake a place in next seasons Champions League. However, Liverpool may have to face competition from amongst other Italian giants Juventus if they wish to sign the player for next season.
